Threat of holiday village
The peaceful rural nature of the countryside around Wrenbury and Marbury is threatened by a major holiday development by Yew Tree Farm off Hollyhurst Road. Marcus Brook Ltd plan to build:
34 double unit timber-clad static caravans, for as many as 150 holidaymakers
112 day fishing sites
155 parking spaces
shop and administration building
The development will...
change the peaceful rural character of the area
hugely increase the traffic on Wrenbury and Marbury's lanes
make the narrow winding lanes dangerous for walkers, runners, cyclists and horseriders
increase the security risk to local residents
set a precedent for more developments in future
What you can do...
